ANTIFA activists in the nation’s capital announced their intention to “shut down” Washington, D.C. during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned visit on July 24.

ANTIFA Colorado

ANTIFA in Colorado attacked a “Back the Blue” rally where a prominent Colorado house Republican was speaking. ANTIFA members spit on, pushed around, and physically injured rally-goers, including prominent conservative columnist Michelle Malkin.

ANTIFA Chicago

The ANTIFA Chicago chapter is known for holding rallies based on intimidation and violence. They held a rally where they demanded “no peace police” to stop them from perpetuating violence. The flier for the rally depicted them wielding a gun.

ANTIFA Atlanta

Atlanta ANTIFA is notorious for the infamous “Cop City” incident in Atlanta. Members of Atlanta ANTIFA and other chapters attacked a police training site, tossing flaming bottles and rocks during the riot. On June 27, 2024, on the night of the first 2024 U.S. presidential debate, ANTIFA extremists attempted to storm CNN headquarters and called for the debate to be shut down entirely.

ANTIFA Asheville

ANTIFA Asheville is an active chapter member of the national torch network. They also have a long history of violence in the city. Members of Asheville ANTIFA partook in violent protests during the Summer of 2020 in which blogger Chad Nesbitt claimed he was almost killed. Asheville ANTIFA also dropped a coffin full of manure outside the Asheville Police Department’s headquarters. It is believed members of Asheville ANTIFA have sway in colleges and among local elected offices in the Asheville area.  On June 29, 2024, during an event at the West Asheville Public Library, ANTIFA activists and members of Firearms Book Coop attacked elderly Jewish patrons others while shouting, “Free, free Palestine!”

A portmanteau of “Anti” and “Fascism,” ANTIFA is organized in the form of the “Torch Network,” a coalition of nine nationwide chapters collaborating for similar goals: Chicago ANTIFA, Colorado ANTIFA, San Francisco ANTIFA, Oregon ANTIFA, ANTIFA Seven Hills (Virginia) , Atlanta ANTIFA, Rose City ANTIFA, Asheville ANTIFA, ANTIFA Sacramento, Portland Antifa. Nationwide, with chapters in most major cities such as Atlanta, GA, Asheville, NC, Chicago, IL, Seven Hills, OH, Seven Hills, VA, and Sacramento, CA. Other chapters are statewide and list no exact location, such as Colorado ANTIFA.

A grassroots socialist organization based in Los Angeles, American Party of Labor (APL) advocates for Marxist-Leninist revolution in America. The APL’s stated mission is to overthrow the government to create a socialist republic built on “the remnants of the United States.” The APL has a presence across 20 states. Chapters in Portland, OR. 18 Million Rising

A left-wing advocacy group founded to mobilize Asian Americans, 18 Million Rising’s stated goal is to “dismantle systems of oppression, fight white supremacy, and work towards a liberated future for Asian Americans and all people.” In response to the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack that left more than 1,200 Israeli civilians dead, 18 Million Rising stated the attack was “the Palestinian people rising up against 75+ years of Israeli settler colonial violence and occupation.” Their reaction post included a graphic which stated “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free.”

Zoey Zephyr

A radical transgender activist and member of the Montana House of Representatives, Zephyr made headlines for a speech on the floor of the statehouse in which fellow legislators were accused of having “blood on their hands” for supporting a bill banning sex-change treatments for minors. The Montana House censured Zephyr for “hateful rhetoric,” which subsequently compelled a group of protesters to shut down the legislative session. Zephyr reportedly incited the protesters to storm the gallery while holding up a microphone while on the House floor to amplify the voices of the rioters.
